The Voice of Needles Calif - Yes on Prop H

On election day last Tuesday the voices of the citizens of Needles rang loud and clear as they voted 73% to 27% in favor of allowing the construction of a Fort Mojave Indian casino.

As posted about a week ago, because the location of the proposed casino is 4 miles outside of Needles and the land is off-reservation land, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger required, as a pre-condition to going forward with the plan, that the county and the city of Needles pass resolutions stating that the site is suitable for a gaming facility.

The community had the final say and they said yes.
