Told Ya So......

In the previous post I stated that the local opponents of AB 2682 would probably take credit for the veto by the governor....

Well, it didn't take long... this from the latest edition of the Valley Journal..

"As this paper goes to press, I have had word that our Governor has vetoed AB 2686. I am delighted that he found our concerns to be worthy of consideration. I thank him for his action and I thank all the community members who spent many hours, days and weeks making sure that we were all fully informed as to what was transpiring under our noses."

Too funny...

By the way, I dont know if any of you know this but I wrote the governor last year and told him I was opposed to a state prison being built on the flats between Buellton and Solvang. You notice that today there is no prison.
